What are Sprouted Kodo Millet Flakes?
Sprouted Kodo Millet Flakes (locally called Varagu / Porso) are made from a native Indian grain that our grandparents ate for centuries, transformed through a slow, controlled sprouting process that unlocks its full nutritional value. Sprouting activates dormant enzymes inside the grain, breaks down anti-nutrients like phytic acid, and increases bioavailable protein by up to 30% compared to un-sprouted millet.
Once sprouted, the grain is gently dried below 45°C to preserve enzymes and vitamins, then flaked through traditional rollers. The result is a ready-to-eat wholegrain flake that cooks in under five minutes — without losing any of its ancient goodness.
